Squadrite Headquarters

When Squadrite reached out to us, their goal was clear: transform a two-bedroom apartment in the heart of Lekki into a dynamic futuristic office fit to welcome international clients. The biggest challenge was the footprint, fitting a full executive office into a residential layout meant every square inch had to work harder. To keep the space feeling open and bright, we replaced solid walls with glass partitions and perforated dividers, allowing natural light from the main window to flow all the way into the space. Most of the furniture was also custom-built to scale so the floor plan stayed open and easy to move through.

The experience begins at reception, where a curved sculpted desk sits beneath a recessed baffle ceiling with Perspex encased lighting inbetween its panels surrounded by a circle led light . A perforated gradient partition in Squadrite’s signature blue separates the entrance from the open workspace which keep the entry light and welcoming while maintaining privacy between zones. Moving into the open-plan area, a halo-like baffle ceiling marks out each zone as its own destination, while a curved mesh ceiling and matching curved carpet flooring follow the same path to guide movement through the space. At the center, a workstation with upholstered dividers and a tree planter built directly into the desk brings natural warmth into a focused working environment. The Chairman’s office makes a strong executive impression with a coffered waffle ceiling and recessed light panels, paired with a backlit marble backdrop display shelving behind the desk. The MD’s office takes a more serene, polished approach accented by backlit alabaster stone wall panels, warm wall cladding, and ergonomic adjustable furnitures.

The executive boardroom mirrors the refined design language, with contoured cotton acoustic ceiling baffles in the brand colours to ensure sound clarity during meetings and smart privacy glass films to ensure privacy . Within the kitchenette, custom cabinetry fully encloses the refrigerator, concealing bulkier appliances to give an uncluttered aesthetic. By seamlessly integrating Squadrite’s hallmark deep blue and metallic gold accents throughout the carpeting, wall finishes, and seating, the project delivers a highly functional, seamless, and futuristic workspace built for a major corporate facility.
